Where is the love?

Stop looking outside for it

· Happiness,love,Life Mastery

“Looking back over a lifetime, you see that love was the answer to everything.” - Ray Bradbury

Admit it --- without love, Life feels empty. And many people feel empty and hence, unhappy because they are not feeling the love --- the love for something; someone; and for Life.

The mistake that most people make in search for love is to think that it has to come from something/ someone else.

The truth is, it has to start from you.

To love is to invest

If someone says they love you without putting in any effort, you know they don't mean it.

Likewise, do you know when you can say you love something and actually feel it?

Answer:
When you have invested - time, efforts, and sometimes money - in something over the long haul.

If you haven't, no surprise you feel like you don't love anything.

There's no fun playing at amateur's level or being mediocre; you get bored after awhile because it doesn’t require much effort. If you're just skimming the surface of things, you will not uncover the essence of anything, which is usually buried in the depth of it.

The way to sustain your interest in something is to get really good at it...

The way to have fun in something is to be damn serious about it...

The way to fall in love with Life is to invest yourself in something that is special to you.

“Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.” - Helen Keller

It may take some time or perhaps a long time to identify what you want to invest yourself in but know that once you have identified it, it will be something that no amount of time, challenges and setbacks can stop you from going after it...

And that, my dear, IS LOVE.
